Sanpete County closes clerk’s office to marriage licenses
Sanpete County commissioners held an emergency meeting this morning, directing county clerk Sandy Neill to not issue any marriage licenses until Tuesday morning, as they anticipated a stay of District Judge Robert Shelby’s ruling that legalized same-sex marriage in Utah.
“If no ruling is made by midnight tonight, the clerk’s office will issue licenses during business hours on Tuesday, Dec. 24,” the commission’s statement read.

Well 53 minutes ago Shelby told the bigots to take a hike so they better re-open this tax payer funded institution. Staying closed at this point would just be to spite "the gays" which would be rather un-Christian, especially at this time of the year.
