Southern Utah goes pink with 2 upcoming events

Southern Utah will host two events for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ally community; Pink Dot St. George and the Equality Utah Halloween Party.

The Second Annual Equality Utah Halloween Party is going intergalactic this year with moonwalk dancing, alien beverages and an out-of-this-world costume contest. It will be held in the beautiful Coyote Gulch Art Village in Ivins, Utah on Oct. 27, 7 p.m. The event is sponsored by Southern Utah, and early bird tickets are $15.

The Pink Dot event will include a picnic in the park and a photo opportunity for the LGBT and ally community Nov. 3, 11:30 a.m., at Vernon Worthen Park.
