Be My QUAC Valentine

Celebrate Valentine’s weekend wet and wild style with Utah’s non-profit gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual and straight swim club as they celebrate their premier fundraising event of the year, Ski n’ Swim 2009.

 Registration is closed and tickets are unavailable to all events except the swim meet, which is free to the public. You can learn more about the club and support the swimmers and the water polo team at the University of Utah ’s aquatic center on Sunday, Feb. 15 starting at 10:00 a.m. Join QUAC members, swimmers from other cities and members of Utah Masters (a group for swimming enthusiasts of all ages) as they compete in swimming events throughout the day at the glass-enclosed Ute Natatorium, which features an eight lane competition pool. You can also watch the QUAC Water Polo team compete against the West Hollywood Water Polo team.

This year’s Ski n’ Swim profits will go toward funding scholarships to help QUAC members attend the International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics Championships held this July in Copenhagen, Denmark, or the Gay Games 2010 in Koln, Germany.
