Center to Hold Stress Workshop

The Utah Pride Center will hold its next series of workshops on personal empowerment and stress management beginning Thursday, March 6.

“Staying Afloat with Water Wings: Coping Strategies with Dealing with Stress in Our Lives” will be held six times during March and April. Workshop participants will be asked to explore their current coping skills and patterns, clarify the stressors in their lives and concentrate on ways to better cope with such stressors as relationship problems and the stress that can come with being in a minority group.

Workshops will be held from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the Center’s Middle Meeting Room on March 6, 13 and 27 and on April 3, 10 and 17. Participants are asked to commit to the first three weeks, the last three weeks or all six workshops and can only start on the first or fourth week. The cost is $30 for the full six weeks or $15 for the first or second three week course. All money will benefit the Utah Pride Center.
