Northern Utah panel to discuss removal of gay-themed books
The recent controversy surrounding the banning of books in Davis County has highlighted that bullying occurs in many forms, and a community/panel discussion in Ogden will be held on June 11, 7 p.m., to address the concerns.
The forum, Banned Books, Bullying and Suicide will feature Charlie Trentelman, Eric Ansel, a professor of psychology at Weber State University, Rev. Theresa Novak and Anne Spatola, parents of grown children, Rev. Rob Trujillo, his partner and their son Dillon.
The community is asked to bring ideas and questions for the panel.
